Cocktails anyone?
When we are on vacation, we both love to try new things and get a taste of the local cultures. Charlie is a little more adventurous that I am but he is slowly rubbing off on me. If you have ever been on an ocean cruise, you may know that there is always a drink of the day. This is one of Charlie's favorite things as he loves to try new cocktails. Below are a few of our favorite recipes so you can try them for yourself.
The first drink we want to start with is Charlie's go to drink, the Pineapple Mojito.
1 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup mint leaves
1/2 cup pineapple syrup
1 cup white rum
1/3 cup lime juice
2/3 cup club soda
Muddle the pineapple and mint leaves together. Stir in the rum, lime juice and pineapple syrup. Pour into a glass with ice and top off with club soda.
My favorite drink is a Mai Tai. This is the very first drink I get as soon as I walk onto a cruise ship.
